N Scale - Victorian Railways GH grain wagon

Kit no 1046 - $130 - $180 depending on underframe preference selected
Includes 3 of each type of GH, stainless steel etch, decals, walkway jig, handrail template and a choice of underframes

By late 1970s the Victorian railways were experiencing a shortage of suitable grain wagons to haul the vast quantities of grain that needed moving.  As a consequence 810 GY wagons were converted into GHs between 1979 mid 1980s and allocated the number range 1 810

Both the twin lid and long single lid are available.  The kit comprises detailed stainless steel etches, jigs to aid walkway angles and handrail holes, detailed instructions, prototype photos, hints, tips, decals and with 3 of each type in a box.  The kit can be built a number of ways either with minimal detail or with super detail including lashing rings.

NO drilling for the walkway is necessary as the holes are provided in the casting for ease of construction and 3 options for underframes are available as well.

1 use the correct 3D printed one with Fox Valley metal wheels $170.00
2 supplied with Aust-N-Rail GY underframes $180.00
3 use your own already purchased Aust-N-Rail underframes or what you are comfortable with $130.00

Kits will weigh the same as the GYs already out there for ease of use but you may add extra weight if you like
